Welcome to the Eagles' Mathematics Core Circle (EMC2).

This is the unofficial site of the students Mathematics group of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Zamboanga City, Philippines.

EMC2 (pronounced as EMCSQUARED) got its name from the brainstorming of some College Faculty members of the Mathematics Department of ADZU after the very successful conduct of the First Sudoku Puzzle Challenge held at ADZU on September 2006. When the (then) Students' Math Circle was re-organized, it adapted the name Eagles' Mathematics Core Circle or EMC2, that got its name inspired by Einstein's very own Theory of Relativity.
